Just because professional cleaning services are in charge of making your space sparkle, this doesn’t mean that there’s nothing you can do to help the process. This is what we aim to discuss today. We here at NFMWGC appreciate all the feedback we’ve been getting.
For today, we wanted to talk about how you can help cleaning service providers get their job done well. Let’s begin:
Be Clear About Your Instructions
If there are any specific areas in your space that you would like cleaned particularly or left alone, you need to be clear with them upfront. Professional cleaners aren’t mind readers and they will need to know what you are comfortable with so that they don’t end up doing something you don’t like.
It would be good if you were to be clear about your instructions before the cleaning starts so they can adjust their plans accordingly.
Respect Time Conditions
There is often a timeframe that is given for the duration of the cleaning. This is often something that either you choose or the cleaners choose. It could also be something that you both agree upon equally. When such an agreement is struck, it would be good for you to stick to it.
We have had experiences when a cleaning job was set to start at 7AM sharp but the family wasn’t out of the home until 9AM. Please bear in mind that you may not be the only clients that the pros have for that day and not meeting the schedule can be a hassle for all.
Give a Tip
Unless it is specifically stated in the contract that tips aren’t allowed, some form of gratis would be greatly appreciated. After all, this is a service and most professional cleaning services put in 1000% of their effort to go beyond their line of duty to give you the service that you deserve.
These are just a few things that you can do to help cleaning services when you contract a firm. What other ways do you think you could help out?
